Abia Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu Dissolves Cabinet

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has dissolved the state government council.

Enyinnaya Appolos, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, in an announcement, mentioned that six out of the 27 commissioners weren’t affected by the dissolution.

He listed them as Eziuche Ubani, Commissioner for Works; John Okiyi-Kalu, Commissioner for Data, and Aham Uko, Commissioner for Setting.

Others are Obinna Oriaku, Commissioner for Finance, John Ahukannah, Commissioner for Well being and Umeh Kalu, the Lawyer Normal and Commissioner for Justice.

He mentioned that the state authorities sincerely appreciated the members of the dissolved government council for his or her service to the state.

The outgoing commissioners have been directed handy over state authorities property of their possession to the everlasting secretaries of their numerous ministries.

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) remembers that Mr Ikpeazu was reelected for a second time period.
