The Minister of Training, Mallam Adamu Adamu, on Tuesday, directed the Lecturers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) to sack unqualified lecturers throughout the nation.
Adamu acknowledged this in Jos, the Plateau State capital, throughout the sixth induction ceremony of 400 newly graduated lecturers educated by the College of Jos.
The Minister, who spoke by way of the Registrar and Chief Govt, Lecturers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Prof. Josiah Ajiboye, stated “The Honourable Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu has directed the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) that after December 31 2019, all those teaching without the requisite qualification should be disengaged.”
