The Governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele has disclosed that the pathetic scenario of the Nigerian economic system made him cry every time he travelled overseas and noticed developments abroad.
He made the assertion in Abuja whereas responding to questions from members of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance coverage and Monetary establishments throughout his screening in Abuja on Wednesday.
The governor identified that on the age of 57, he has seen regular developments of the nation previously, however the trajectory stopped abruptly on account of non-compliance to authorities’s insurance policies.
He mentioned that no nation grows if its residents don’t obey insurance policies, stating that Nigerians abhor disobedience to insurance policies made by authorities.

He vowed to implement the CBN insurance policies to the later in his second tenure, stating that the authority would sanction those that breach the legal guidelines no matter their standing within the society.
In a well-attended screening committee sitting, Senators took turns to commend him over reforms he carried out throughout his first tenure.
Talking after the assembly, Chairman of the Committee, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the train, saying that he would flip within the report back to the pink chambers with speedy impact.
